Hey there! I'm Melody!

I'm a former teacher-turned-artist who loves depicting sweet scenes and cute characters you can connect with.For years, I treated illustration only as a hobby because I never considered myself to be a "real artist." I didn't believe that my work was "good enough" or that I was "talented enough" to refer to myself as such...That is, until a sweet student of mine heard me putting myself and my skills down one day and said:"But Miss Melody... What are you talking about? You made that, right? So you're already an artist!"

Ever since then, I've worked hard to remind myself that, "Yes, I am an artist!" even on the days I don't feel "good enough." Because, in the end, being an artist is just about making and creating, so... That's what I'm here to do!But of course, the REAL dream is to one day call myself :

... a FULL-TIME artist!

One that...is always in demand for commissions;
illustrates for book covers and picture books;
cultivates a warm community of artists and art-lovers;
teaches drawing and illustration to kiddos;
sells her own line of fun products on the side;... and is in love with the life she's created.
